How do I ship something?
To make a shipment, contact your nearest office. They’ll be able to inform you about all the necessary conditions for you to send your merchandise.

How do I request a pick-up?
You can request a pick-up over the phone from Monday to Friday through your nearest Tourline Express office. Please consult the applicable pick-up times with your office as it depends on the geographic area.

How much will it cost to make a shipment?
The rate applied to the shipment will depend on the destination, and its weight and size. For national shipments, go to the section “Services – Rate Calculator” and enter the information requested regarding the package you want to send.

Can I send a shipment COD (Cash on Delivery)?
For national services and services to Portugal, yes you can. A COD service allows you to manage collection of payment for goods at destination. We charge a 5% commission on the total amount involved, with a minimum charge of €3.40.

How do I pay?
For our registered clients, we issue a monthly bill. If you're not a registered client, you must pay in cash when you drop off the merchandise to be sent at the office or when it is delivered.

What services do you provide companies with?
Tourline Express has a large network of offices to provide you with the urgent transport service that best matches your needs. If you like, you can fill out the “Budget Request” form, and the nearest Tourline Express office will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Can the merchandise be picked-up at a Tourline Express office?
Our service includes both pick-up and drop-off of the merchandise at the address you indicate. Nevertheless, the client can contract the “Pick-up at Office” service. This way, you can pick up your package at the nearest Tourline Express office when it's most convenient for you.

When are Tourline Express offices open?
Our offices are open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm. On Saturdays, we open from 8:30 am to 11 am. During July and August, our offices are open from 8 am to 2:30 pm and from 4:30 pm to 7 pm. During July and August, we are also open on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 11 am.

What happens if we’re not here when you come to deliver the package?
If you are not there when we go to make the delivery, the messenger will leave a note with a phone number for you to call and co-ordinate a second delivery attempt. If you wish, you can also use the delivery confirmation sent by SMS short text message or e-mail to keep you posted on the status of your delivery.

What are the weight and size limits for packages?
In the case of national services, the maximum weight per package is 40 kg. Moreover, the sum of the package’s height, width and depth should not exceed 240 cm, unless one side is 10 cm or less in length, in which case the total sum should not exceed 320 cm.
For international services, rates for packages that are large but light will be established according to their volumetric weight, that is to say, by the space they occupy more than by their actual weight. This condition applies to all shipments. To calculate the volume of a shipment in metres, multiply length by height and width. For Global Express, 9 am Express and 12 pm Express services, the volumetric conversion factor is 167. For Economy and France (1 pm and 6 pm) services, this conversion factor is 333.
